What the Heck is Bambsquabbled you ask?
Bambsquabbled is an actual 19th century American slang word essentially meaning “stupefied,” “confounded,” or “embarrassed.” When I was struggling for a name for the contest, I googled “interesting words that start with ‘B’” and bambsquabbled was on the list. I love how it sounds and that’s the story.
