When to Replace Your Birchmeier Check Valve

If you're having trouble pumping up your Birchmeier backpack, it could be that the check valve. The check valve is this white spring assembly under the pump cylinder. If that gets full of debris, it will not work properly. It is one part that can be replaced frequently and all pest control companies using these backpacks should keep extra check valves in stock.

One of the parts that frequently needs to be replaced is the check valve. If you're having trouble pumping up your backpack, it could be that the check valve is bad, or has debris in it. The check valve is this white spring assembly under the pump cylinder. You use a small screwdriver, and just pry it out of there.
