Preventative Maintenance - Do as I Say, Not as I Do!

If you have read any of my stuff, you know one of my mantras is do your preventative maintenance. Don't put it off. Don't wait for spray equipment to fail. Preventative maintenance on your pest control equipment (or weed or termite, etc.) will save time and money and reduce downtime and missed appointments.
We regret to inform you that the cobbler's son has no shoes!
Our refrigerator at home developed a problem this weekend. It wouldn't keep stuff cold. This problem was compounded by the fact that the unit was stocked with Thanksgiving foodstuffs.
I called an appliance repair place. He took one look at the coil and said, "You have to do your maintenance". I couldn't do anything but laugh. I told him I spend half my waking hours telling my customers the same exact thing.
I paid him $79 to do the maintenace, which I could have done in about 5 minutes.
Please ignore what I do and do what I say. Do your preventative maintenance on your pest spray equipment. It will save you money. I promise.
ps - It is now in my outlook calendar to service the fridge every six months.
