Get to Know the Coxreel 1125 4 200 Model Hose Reel

The  Coxreel 1125-4-200 model is a top seller and high quality piece of equipment for both pest control and weed control/landscaping clients. There are a number of optional accessories that can be added to the Coxreels that are help extend the life of your hose reel and the hose itself. The roller guide seen here added to the model helps ensure that the hose stays in front of the reel and won't slip off to the side and it also helps protect your truck if it is mounted on your vehicle. 

This model, like  all Coxreels, are made of powder coated heavy duty steel. Blue is the standard color but you can pay a little extra for red or black models if that is your choice. All reels come with a two-year manufacturer's warranty and QSpray carries all the Coxreel parts needed to repair or replace items.

Andrew Greess: Hi, this is Andrew Greess with Quality Equipment and Spray, qspray.com. Today, I'm talking about a very popular Cox hose reel. This is one of the more popular hose reels with our pest control, weed control landscape clients.

This is the 1125‑4‑200 hose reel. The four means it's designed for half inch hose. The 200 means it can hold 200 feet. It can hold 200 feet of half inch hose, or 300 feet of three‑eighth inch hose.

It's a beautiful unit, it's power coated, it's heavy duty steel. You may be wondering what this wood block is. When you purchase your reel it's going to be in the box, bolted to the wooden boards so that it doesn't slide all over the place. That's why it's there.

A couple of things ‑‑ this is an option, this is the roller guides. This is not standard with the reel, this one just happens to have the roller guides on it. This is why I want to show it to you.

With love this option. It keeps the hose in front of the reels. When you're at the back of the house pulling the hose, it can't come off the side and go crazy. It also keeps the hose off your vehicle, so it extends the life of the hose and protects your vehicle. Again, it's an option. It is not included with the reel. You have to buy it separately, but it is a great option.

A couple of other features we like about the Cox. The hose outlet is bent at a 45 degree angle. I don't know if you can see here, but what that means is when your hose attaches to it, it comes through this slot here, your hose is not kinked. It protects your hose and we don't need to kink the hose because there's an elbow in the reel itself. That's a beautiful feature.

We've got this heavy duty, all‑brass swivel. It comes with the brass swivel. It's a 3000 PSI size swivel. There is an option for a 5000 PSI size swivel if you're doing some kind of pressure washing operation. You can substitute a 5000 PSI size swivel, but it does come with the 3000.

The unit comes with a handle. When you purchase the sprayer, the handle is taped to the reel, so you'll have a do a little bit of assembly. It'll take you about five seconds, it's really simple.

The reel standard color is blue. We can also get it in red, white and black. Those colors take a little longer and cost, I think, about $10 or $15 more, but those are options as well. It's on a heavy duty base. It comes with a two year manufacturer's warranty.
